This policy explains what information the International Medical Committee (IMC) collects through this site, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to the imc-wofp.org website and any information that may be received through it. IMC is the medical committee of the World Organization for Peace (WOFP). It does not apply to other sites or services operated by WOFP or by third parties, even if linked from here.
2. What information we collect
This site is primarily informational. It does not use its own forms, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics tools. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send us voluntarily, for example when you:
- Email us at one of our published addresses (such as usa@wofp.org) to ask a question, propose an institutional partnership or express interest in collaborating as a health professional.
- Call us at the contact phone number published on the site.
In these cases, the information you share may include your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the content of your message. Our hosting provider may also log standard technical access data (such as IP address and request date) for security and service stability purposes.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you send us solely to respond to your inquiry or to coordinate the institutional partnership or professional collaboration you propose. We do not use it for advertising or to build behavioral profiles.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
At this time, this site does not install analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add any tool that uses them in the future, we will update this policy to explain it clearly before activating it.
5. Who we share information with
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it internally with the World Organization for Peace (WOFP), IMC’s parent organization, when necessary to handle your request (for example, an institutional partnership or an inquiry that belongs to another WOFP area). This site includes links to wofp.org and may include links to other partner organizations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; we recommend reviewing their own policies.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we receive, including using encrypted connections (HTTPS) for the site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have sent us by writing to usa@wofp.org. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
9. Data retention
We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or coordinate the requested activity (institutional partnership or professional collaboration), plus a reasonable additional period for administrative or legal reasons. You can request early deletion of your information at any time by writing to usa@wofp.org, as described in the "Your rights" section.
10. Users outside the United States
This site is hosted and managed from the United States. If you write to us from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other locations where IMC or the World Organization for Peace operate. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection laws, the legal basis for processing the information you voluntarily send us is your consent given by contacting us, and you have the same access, correction, and deletion rights described in the "Your rights" section, plus any additional rights recognized under your local law.
11. Minors
This site is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, contact us to have it removed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this same page along with the last-updated date.
